Plan. Design. Build. Execute.
It takes more than just a pretty website to convert users into leads. Having a well-planned website with clear direction and call-to-actions will help drive users to the content you want them to see, and push them towards the goal of contacting you for the sale.
I have been trying to get into more church and non-profit websites as I have a heart for this genre of web projects. So when City Church approached me about a website project for their new church plant, I was ecstatic!
This project needed to match their recently developed branding guidelines, but they wanted their website to be edgy and fresh. Their target user is young families. They are a different type of church from anything in the area, and their website needed to reflect that, while still educating users on who they are.
The city kids area was a big focus for content. Since so many of their weekly guests are parents with young kids, it was important this page be laid out with the best content possible. We created buttons for downloading the PDF's for safety content and maps.
The site is easy for their team to manage. I provided online training videos accessible directly in their website dashboard, so anyone who logs in can have direct access to all the training videos needed.
I was excited to work with Dan Ludeman at Ludeman Productions. Dan is one of the most talented and inspiration videographers I've ever met. This project was designed to help Dan increase engagement with his clients.
His website provided a unique challenge, as he needed users to be directed quickly and easily to the content they needed. Wedding clients weren't interested in his commercial services, and commercial clients weren't interested in his wedding services. That's why we set up two distinct Call-to-Action buttons on the homepage to give users the immediate navigation they needed.
Likewise, we set up different contact pages and contact forms for each specific type of client that would be contacting him for his services. We also set up automated emails to be sent out after their initial contact to make things more streamlined for the user, and for Dan.
This project is currently ongoing and is in its final stages of testing. Some unique qualities of this website are the needs for communication and education to the user, as well as easily accessing all the products available for rent.
The client of this website simply needed to display all the rental items with a good description of the items. The focus here was to get potential event renters to understand the need for event rental decor and the various products this company has to offer.
We also updated their branding on this project. The old branding was dated and didn't represent the more modern items available for rent. We opted for a dark theme website to enrich the experience of the user and allow the clean, white rental items to stand out.
This project also provided some fun development challenges. Since the client would be adding products often, we made the system on the backend very easy to manage. All the sections of the website that deal with products are managed in one single section. So when the client wants to update a section, they only make the change in one area, and the rest of the changes are reflected throughout the site.
This site is set to launch shortly, but you can visit the staging site now or the design mockups.
Note** This project is still in development and maybe not have final content added.
